Seasonal Crate Decor

I have always loved the wedding date crate that I made a couple years ago (you can read how here) and it’s been the perfect piece to use on our fireplace or on the bottom of our console table. Crates are great to use for seasonal decor, you can change out what’s in them so easily. I figured I’d show you a few of the ways I’ve used my crate in 2015.

Winter: Just use it to store some cozy blankets

Spring and Summer: I used a lantern I found at the thrift store and some faux greenery from Target One Spot.

And for fall I just added a small white pumpkin to what I had for the summer!

For Christmas I bought some ice skates on Craigslist and used a Christmas stem from Old Time Pottery with the same lantern I’ve used most of the year.
