Fall Bushel Basket Wall
For the last three years I kept my Fall console table somewhat similar by using this amazing sign that I got from Harper Grayce. I love the sign but decided to change things up a little more drastically this year and try something new.
I honestly sat there staring at all my open fall bins for a good hour with no clue what I wanted to do when I got a wild idea and knew it was on the fence of being great or awful but I decided to give a try and find out.
I have a bunch of these bushel baskets I picked up thrifting several years ago and decided to put my own spin on the basket walls that I keep seeing all over Instagram. I started by laying them out on the floor to get an idea of what arrangement I liked and then started nailing into the wall.
Some of the baskets are in rough shape (which I love the character of) so there were gaps in the bottom that I could hang onto the nails, some of the newer ones I just drilled holes into the bottom for the nail to go through.
Once I had the basket arrangement I wanted, I started filling them with faux greenery and my collection of Flax and Willow Pumpkins. These are fabric pumpkins that I’ve had for years and they’re super light weight which made them perfect to use in these baskets!
Most of the greenery is a faux garland from Hobby Lobby that I cut into pieces but I also shoved some other picks of faux eucalyptus that I had to add a fuller look and a little variety of color.
I still am unsure about the top of the console table so for now I just wrapped two of those same garlands together and laid it on top. I may keep tweaking it or maybe leave it like this.. But either way I love how the bushel basket wall turned out!
