Celebrating Cinco De Mayo at Home!

When I was contacted by Bed Bath and Beyond about working together for Cinco De Mayo last year, I couldn’t think of a better fit for myself. Anyone that knows me knows that mexican food is my ALL TIME FAVORITE thing and I’ve said for years that Cinco De Mayo is probably one of my favorite holidays 😉

Any excuse to get together with friends or family and eat mexican is a BIG YES for me!

But if I’m being honest it can be hard to eat out with a toddler (as most of you mamas know) so sometimes it’s easier to just eat at the house where they can be wild and free. And this year especially with all the COVID19 stuff, it will be an even better idea to just celebrate at home.

So last year we hosted a Cinco De Mayo party and did a serve yourself taco/fajita bar and/or nacho bar! The great thing about all of this food is there is something for everyone and you can make your food how you like it!

I decided to go with a more muted color scheme after falling in love with this runner. I just thought the blues, tans and creams suited my style and the macrame ends were the perfect fun touch. I loved how all the wood tones worked with the white dishes and the pop of copper was fun enough for Cinco De Mayo!
