Advocare is not just for weight loss

I often post about how Advocare can help with weight loss because it’s the goal that I relate to and strive for the most. However, Advocare is not just for weight loss, it’s for anyone looking to increase energy, strip body fat, build lean muscle, or anyone that just wants to increase their overall wellness.

I want to introduce you to my friend Katie who actually is the person who introduced me to Advocare. Katie was already small but still got great results! It made me think, if she can see results when she has little to lose, than I definitely could and did!

I know so many people like Katie that work out constantly trying to tone up and see those changes in their body. I asked Katie some questions about her journey and thought they were worth sharing! Advocare can help enhance your performance in the gym and finally get those results you’ve been working so hard for!

What interested you in Advocare? I saw my girlfriends making great progress toning up and gaining energy and I was tired of staying stagnant with my progress. I was having constant stomach issues and I was literally jealous! I also found the Advocare business opportunity enticing since I knew one of my best friends was making more with Advocare in her part-time evening efforts that I was at my full-time day job. I figured what’s so special about her (haha jk), if she can do it surely I can too!

How long have you been on product? I started on products in July- starting with the 24-day challenge. I continue to take Spark, omegaplex, catalyst, and coreplex daily. I also use Carbease plus for cheat meals and Thermoplus in addition to rehydrate (I hate being dehydrated), Probiotic restore, coffecino, and slam. Plus there is a wish list a mile long of other products I want to try but obviously can’t try them all at once. I could definitely tell a difference when I started taking catalyst – I wish I had used it to tone up during my challenge.

What success have you seen? First and foremost, gastrointestinal issues nearly eradicated. By day 3 or 4 on the cleanse, my (for lack of better terms) bathroom habits were normal for the first time in years and I wasn’t having the uncomfortable bloating and nearly constant discomfort in my lower abdomen. After that, I was sold.

With no gastrointestinal problems, better diet, and the supplements, I had a lot more energy. Before Advocare, there were many days after work I would lie down for a few minutes before exercising and now I can go straight for the errands/chores.

I also lost a few pounds and nearly 8 inches from my arms, legs, and stomach which amazed me! I’ve started lifting more weights (nothing extreme) and I feel the difference in my muscle tone and now I’ve gained a few good pounds of muscle.

Another great part is the income and opportunity to help others. I have helped several family members and friends lose weight (some even up to 40 pounds), gain enough energy to start an exercise regimen, train for a marathon or reach a number of other goals. I have several friends on my team who are nurses working the night shift and soon enough will be able to quick taking on overtime, working the night shift and doing traveling nursing. As for me, I’m going to be able to not have to stay behind to hold a job while my husband starts his med-school rotations which is such a blessing because we were in a long distance relationship until we got married and it would kill me to have to go back to that.

How many times a week do you exercise and what types of exercise do you do? Lucky for me, I find joy in working out. I love the feeling of a good workout and the added energy I get from exercising. I try to do something every day but my workouts range from fun cardio Jazzercise, to lifting medium weights with my hubby, doing the Can-you-24 dvd at home, walks on the trails with friends, reading a book while on the elliptical and sometimes crossfit. I do love cardio but I’m beginning to see more of the benefits and learning to enjoy lifting weights too- building that lean muscles!

You may also remember Amanda’s success from her first challenge before finding out she was pregnant:  She lost 9 lbs and finally got the abs that she had been working on for months. She was powering through workouts like never before and  felt incredible!
