Sports Themed Christmas Nursery

I just shared Ellie’s room all decked out for Christmas so I figured I should share Cole’s room also. Since this is the first year I’m decorating his room for Christmas I was a little unsure what to do and especially without buying all new stuff. Since his room is football themed we decided to stick with the sports idea and do a team tree since we had quite a bit of Alabama and Kentucky ornaments from before we got married! 

The only new things I used on the tree was the DIY ball garland that I made just like the garland I shared the tutorial for HERE. 

And I also made a little tree collar using scrap plywood leftover from his accent wall. I may end up painting it black or with some design later but for now it works! 

I just love having twinkle lights in every room at Christmas and so we’ve really enjoyed having a tree in his room!

Unlike Ellie’s room that has lots of Christmas decor, I kept things as normal in his room but just added these little trees from the Target Bullseye area on his little shelf.

Do you decorate your kids rooms for Christmas? I have to say this year has been the hardest as far as keeping little hands off the trees. Both kids trees have been redecorated a few times so they’re not as “picture perfect” but I’ve stopped caring 😉 Our kids really love their trees and so do I!
