Simple Fall Door Decor
I love fall porches, I think out of all the porch decor, it has to be my all time favorite! The mums and pumpkins and colors and textures are just beautiful! Last year (you can view here) I went all out with hay, mums, pumpkins and more and don’t get me wrong I LOVED IT!!
But this year, I just didn’t have it in me to spend the money and time shopping and wanted to keep it simple but still festive. I got these awesome chippy wooden planters at the thrift store recently for $4 each and really wanted to incorporate them somewhere. I went to a local nursery and chose three colors and sizes of cinderella pumpkins that I could stack. The pumpkins on the square planters left some weird gap so I just took my DIY magnolia wreaths and used them underneath the pumpkins and it worked perfectly!
I accented some winter kale and small white pumpkins and then used this burlap wreath that I made last fall and that’s all folks! I am calling it done for fall! I LOVE all the porches that are overflowing with mums and pumpkins but this year I wanted to keep the cost down and the effort down which is just fine!! We don’t have to do it big every year! 🙂
