Things I Love Thursday – Boxwood Topiaries

I’ve been looking for boxwood topiaries for our front porch for weeks. I visited multiple local nurseries, Lowes, Home Depot, Sam’s and Costco but just hadn’t found any that were what I was hoping for. When I participated in the One Room Spring Tour, my friend Emily from 11Gables shared her secret here…she uses fake topiaries! My mind was blown! I hadn’t thought to look for fake boxwoods but seeing her and reading all of the reviews had me SOLD. These were a little more expensive then buying real boxwood topiaries but knowing that I can’t kill them and don’t have to worry about them this winter made it worth investing a little extra for something that is going to last me for years. I HIGHLY recommend these faux boxwood topiaries for any of you who are looking for statement plants without the maintenance!
