DIY Spring Towel
This may look familiar to you if you remember my DIY Drop Cloth Hydrangea Pillow. It got me thinking of all the different iron on transfers I could do. I love all the cute tea towels I keep seeing around and decided to try to make one myself.
Supplies:
- Leslie Riley’s TAP Transfer Paper
- Flower Sack Towels
- Iron
- Artwork
This is one of the easiest projects I’ve done recently. Here are the short steps:
Step 1: Print your artwork following the instructions of the paper. Make sure you flip the artwork horizontally so that it irons on correctly!
Note: This artwork is the watercolor hydrangea from the Graphics Fairy and I just added the word Spring with it.
Step 2: Iron and Iron and Iron some more. The paper should come off pretty easily so if it’s not, keep ironing. My sweet friend Chloe did a super helpful video of how to use the paper. I definitely recommend checking it out!
That’s literally it!! A two step DIY that is perfect for any season and with any artwork. I am already thinking about what I want to use my other 5 towels for!
Is it perfect, nope! But that’s the life of DIY! 🙂
