Holiday Home Tour – Guest Blogger

You guys are in for another treat today! I am so excited to have Mary sharing her stunning home all decked out for the holidays! Just a reminder, you can find my holiday home tour here and the other guest holiday tours here.

 

I’m so excited to share my home with you all!  We moved to this house only a couple months ago, but I love to see how my home is coming along, especially during my favorite time of the year-Christmas. For me nothing says Christmas like the traditional colors: red, white, and green. I have pops of red throughout my home. I added some greenery to my living room with a natural fir tree and a box wreath over the fireplace, and added a simple cedar garland in the center of my dining table. I also incorporated a few of my favorite vintage items with my Christmas décor; (i.e. the olive bucket, dough bowls, antique typewriter). I always try to add some personal touches, something handmade by my kids. This year they made a few salt dough ornaments for the tree and entryway décor. Holy Moly, Mary’s home tour makes me want to take all my Christmas decor down and start all over! Isn’t it just the perfect mix of traditional/vintage and yet still simple and not overdone!
