DIY Chalkboard Ornaments

You may remember last week when I shared my plans to make Chalkboard Ornaments here. Well, I wanted to show you how they turned out!

I ordered these chalkboards from Amazon. They were around $6 for 12 which makes for affordable ornaments!

They come with cheap gold string for hangers so I decided to wrap some twin around it and hot glue it to the back. It gave them a little more character however in the tree it’s not really noticeable so you could skip this step.

I used a Craft Smart Chalk Marker and searched “Christmas Chalkboard” on Pinterest and just mimicked the ones simple enough for me to do. I’m not the greatest at chalkart but I still love house these turned out and love the price. Chalk markers can be hard to erase so I suggest using real chalk if you plan to reuse them over and over.
