Tips for Using Lighting to Add Character in Your Home

I’ve mentioned this before but lighting was super important to me when we were making selections for our house. Lighting adds so much character and style into your home for a small budget in the grand scheme of a house. Lighting is also a great thing to change out if you’re renting a house and want to make some small changes to make the space your own. We chose really traditional details in our house but I wanted our lighting choices to set the tone in the house. I went with a craftsman/industrial style with most of our light fixtures and I have had zero regrets.

Using pendant lights over tables and islands is a great way to set the style for your furniture and décor. As you know, my style is a little rustic and casual and I am loving these pendants from Parrot Uncle.
