The Results are In!

Last week I posted a poll to see how many people would decorate above their kitchen cabinets and how many people would not. I got a lot of feedback on my blog, facebook and Instagram and was fascinated to see that it was almost split 50/50!

 

This was the breakdown of the Votes:

Thank you to all who gave their feedback! I loved hearing what everyone would do! I still haven’t made up my mind but I’m taking all of these comments into account for the new house!

 

Here were some of he responses I got:

 “I purposely made my cabinets go all the way to the ceiling because I did not want to dust the tops of my cabinets or decor….plus it gives me more storage. I do think it can be pretty with a small amount of decor, but I just personally didn’t want to dust it.”

“In my opinion, no. My cabinets don’t go all the way to the top but I chose not to. I have enough to clean and I don’t want dust catchers in my kitchen.”

“Yes, that’s for extra storage, just pretend its extra counter top.”

“I have a small collection of vases on top of mine. Easy to store up there and decorates the space. Two birds with one stone!”

“I would! You don’t have to dust up there! Nobody can see it!”

“I have mine decorated but would have cabinets to the ceiling if possible. I wouldn’t do it again.”

“I’m not a huge fan of it, but it could be because I’ve seen so many fake plants up there. With the right stand-out items, it would probably be beautiful.”

“Mine are currently decorated, but I’m starting to appreciate a clean, less cluttered look.”
