Things I Love Thursday – CK One Mascara

Not only are birthdays fun and awesome for all the obvious reasons but I love receiving free gifts or coupons from companies on my birthday. One of my favorite recent birthday freebies was this full size CK (Calvin Klein) One Mascara that Ulta gives you for your birthday if you are on their email list. I was a little skeptical about the quality of the mascara since it was free but I actually really like it! It has a great size and shaped wand and it applies really smoothly with no clumps. I was also happy with how it held up throughout the day and I didn’t experience any smudging or flaking! It’s a good natural looking mascara if you like that natural thinner eye lash look. I always layer my mascara with different kinds and I really have liked using this for my first coat or two and then using Maybelline Volume mascara on top of it to thicken them up just a little!

I would warn you that this mascara is a little tough to remove but I can’t consider that necessarily a con, just something to note!

Thank you Ulta for my free mascara, I will definitely be purchasing it again!
