Things I Love Thursday – Firenze Ivory Dinner Plates

There is one thing I still regret not registering for when we got married and that is Everyday China. We never found anything we really loved and we had some decent dishes already so we just registered for a few more to add to our current set. They’ve been great and we’ll continue to use them but they’re not something I’d want to use for any formal dinner. When attending a co-workers wedding shower, I noticed she chose some simple and classic white dishes from Pottery Barn and it hit me, “how classic and elegant and TIMELESS” and I’ve been wanting some ever since! I wanted dishes that weren’t going to go out of style but were still beautiful looking dishes. I stumbled upon these International Firenze dishes at Steinmart and I have been swooning over them for over a year now.

So today my “Things I love Thursday” is my new 8 piece set of the International Firenze Ivory dinner plates that my wonderful mom and sisters and brother-in-law got me for my birthday!! They are beautiful and I know that we will still be using them 20 years from now!

I am so excited to have a dining room in our new house and eventually get a hutch to display these gorgeous dishes. I now have the dinner plates and will anxious to collect the rest of the place settings and serving sets! J
