Weekend Trip to Georgia

Sorry I haven’t posted much lately, life is has been really busy at the Hamby Home! Between the holidays and our weekend trips, I haven’t had a ton of free time. The weekend before Thanksgiving we were invite to Athens to stay with some friends we met on our honeymoon. They are Georgia Bulldog fans and invited us to join them for the Georgia vs Kentucky football game. If you know anything about college/SEC football, then you know that football is not exactly Kentucky’s best sport. We knew it wasn’t going to be a good game but went for the experience and to visit our friends! We had a BLAST! I really loved Athens and all the Georgia fans were super friendly. I’m not sure if they would have been as friendly if I had been wearing all my bama gear! 😉

Lee and Lindsay were the best hosts! We spent a lot of time with them on our honeymoon in Jamaica so it was great to see them again after almost a year!

And seriously…I don’t think there was a better seat in that entire stadium!!! I would give anything to get tickets this good for a Bama football game!!!!
