If you have been on the fence about the Owlet Smart Sock, let me help you…GET ONE!!! As someone recently in my direct messages told me recently, “it is worth 4x the price for the peace of mind it gives me”.

One of my favorite baby items I had with Ellie (that I shared about HERE) was the Owlet Smart Sock so I knew I would definitely be using it again with Cole. I am a worrier by nature and I know I’d be a nervous wreck during the night if that sock wasn’t keeping watch over my babies while I sleep. It’s hard to sleep when they sleep if you are constantly worrying about them…it’s sad but so true for many parents.

I’m a firm believer in safe sleep environments but the threat of SIDS is scary and I know from experience RSV can be scary! We stopped using our owlet with Ellie when she was 11 months but when she got RSV at 16 months I was so thankful to still have that track her oxygen levels at night. Most of our notifications have been sock placement issues where the sock has slipped but I’m happy to wake up for placement issues instead of some heart or oxygen concerns. We’ve been fortunate to only have one red notification so far with RSV.

A few additions and improvements have been made since Ellie was a baby which has been really useful. One is the Owlet Cam, which is super handy to have and I LOVE the mounting kit. I love that it’s safely mounted to the wall and out of the reach from the kids and also just how discreet it is.

It’s also nice to be able to check the app and see not only the oxygen and heart rate levels but have eyes on your baby as well.

They have added a lot more information within the app like the reports on their sleep sessions which is very interesting to see and have access to.

I can’t imagine not having the Owlet and highly recommend it to all my mom friends out there! Of all my friends and family who have used it, none of them have regretted that purchase!
