Floral Garland Wagon Wheel

For spring this year I wanted to do something floral yet neutral and simple and using only stuff I owned already. I was going through a lot of my stuff and getting ready of things when I found this wagon wheel I picked up several years ago from At Home and decided to spruce it up to use above our console table. I layered it on top of these folding pantry doors that I found on the side of the road 5+ years ago and redid – I shared about them HERE.

I started by just tying some faux eucalyptus garland (similar available HERE) around one side of the wheel using pieces of twine. I just tied every spoke to keep it tight on the wheel. I also added more stems of faux eucalyptus to give it a fuller more organic look!

Then I pulled out some faux creamy white flowers I had and just started tucking them into the garland and in the existing pieces of twine. That was enough to keep them in place!

You can use whatever florals you want and as many as you want! I’ve had this up for a couple months now so I may hunt through my faux floral stash and add some larger more colorful flowers soon to spruce it up and give it a different look now that spring is really here! 🙂

I also am loving the color stain on the wagon wheel so I’m now getting the itch to strip and restain the top of the console table to a color like this! What do you guys think? Time for a change? 🙂
