DIY Repurposed Pacifier Clip Holder

If you know me or follow me on Instagram, it’s no secret that I’m obsessed with Ryan and Rose for our daughter. I am really frugal when it comes to buying previously owned clothes for her and inexpensive shoes but I will splurge on some R&R clips and CutiePats in a heartbeat. Seriously though, could these pacifiers get any cuter?! This is in no way sponsored, I’ve paid for every single one of these and continue to do so even though I should probably start weaning away from the paci soon enough! We’ve collected quite a few over the past year and I needed a good way to organize them and have them easy to grab to be able to accessorize with!

With the new year I started going through all my things to purge and I stumbled upon this wooden mug rack I had picked up at the thrift store for $3 a few years ago. You can find these pretty often at thrift stores but there are also several HERE for around $10-$15. I used it for a short period of time but it’s just been hiding in the cabinets since then. It was going to go into the “get rid of” pile until I got the idea that it would make the perfect paci clip rack!

I painted it with some white paint I had on hand and went searching for some type of tray I could use for the bottom! You can paint this to fit whatever style you want for your nursery but white and chippy works great for my daughters Classic Vintage Inspired Nursery.

I am quite the hoarder of things (which is why I am going through it all and purging) so I knew I had to have something that would work. I found this wooden sign I had grabbed at Michaels for 90% off a couple years ago. I didn’t love the sign as is but thought I could always paint it to be something I would use since it was only $1!

It turned out to be the perfect size for the base. You could always use something flat but I wanted something with sides to keep the pacifiers contained.

So this repurposed Pacifier Clip Holder was super simple and only cost me $4 all together even if it’s stuff I’ve been hoarding for years! I just painted both my items, distressed them with a sander and then glued them together! I love being able to see my collection so easily so I can mix and match my clips and CutiePats!
