Classic Vintage Inspired Girls Nursery

I’ve shared Ellie’s nursery several times as it’s evolved but I realized I’ve never done a full and complete nursery tour and seeing as she’s turns one this week, I guess it’s about time for a full reveal! This room has been in the works for about a year and a half and it has become my favorite room in the house! I can honestly say it’s not only pretty (in my opinion) but also very functional and we love spending time in here! In fact, I’m typing this from the rocker right now as Ellie plays with her toys.

I’m going to try to link ALL of the sources here since I get lots of questions about this room! So forgive me if this blog gets lengthy! I’m sure I’ll miss something but hopefully not too much!

Joy Crib and Linen Crib Skirt – Bratt Decor –  I did a whole blog post about this crib and how much I love it and I still think this crib just made the entire space!

Shiplap done with Peel and Stick Vinyl Flooring – Blog Post about why I would NOT recommend using vinyl flooring for faux shiplap HERE

For This Child We Prayed Sign – HERE

Vintage Dresser for Changing Table – found on Facebook Market and just replaced the hardware with THESE DRAWER PULLS.

Mirror made from a $10 Frame I bought a yard sale and had the mirror added a local glass shop. This wasn’t nearly as expensive as I expected so I’ll definitely be keeping this idea in mind for future thrifted frames!

Changing Table Basket – purchased from World Market, I just used vaseline and spray chalk paint to create a distressed painted look to coordinate with the crib

I shared all about the floral garland I added this spring HERE

Linen Glider – This was from Home Depot’s Home Decorators collection. I love this glider and got to choose the fabric I wanted which was awesome and it matched the linen crib bedding EXACTLY!!!

Laundry Basket – thrifted and just painted white with a pink stripe

Brass Pharmacy Lamp – HERE

Pink Pom Pillow – Marshalls

Custom Abstract Painting done by Mary Evelyn Studio Art! This was the cherry on top! I was waiting on the perfect piece to finish off this wall and Mary Evelyn created this amazing abstract piece just for our sweet Ellie and i seriously could not love it any more than I do! It’s perfect and is something I will cherish forever!

Nesting Side Tables – No longer available  –  Nesting Tables are perfect for a nursery where sometimes you need more space to put things, just pull out the additional table!

Old Pink Books – Etsy Shop HERE

Pink Pom Basket – Mini Size – HERE  I use this to hold bibs and burp cloths so I can quickly grab them when we’re feeding, etc.

Glass and Brass Pineapple Canister from Marshalls used to store pacifiers

Book Basket Wall: I ordered these baskets in the Large size and hung them using single wall hooks. They actually have hangers built on the back of the basket but I didn’t use them and liked the appearance of them hanging on the wall, not floating like it would be on the hanger. However, we will likely be reinforcing these with the built in hooks since Ellie is now pulling up on the bottom two baskets.

Wooden Ledge – DIY made from a salvaged archictectural piece found at the flea market. It works perfect as a little ledge to prop frames and little decor pieces on top and helped give the basket wall a finished look.

Wood and brass E – Marshalls

Brass Wine Glasses – Target with faux florals from Michaels

Frame with sample wallpaper to layer behind other decor

And this little area is the one place I like to change up often. I decorated it for Christmas, Spring and have changed it up multiple times with different canvases, artwork, etc. So this is how it looks as of last weekend 😉

Bench – HERE (this bench has been used in our master bedroom, dining room and now in the nursery!)
