Eeek, it’s the last week of the Shop the House Design Challenge – Fall Edition! Myself and several other bloggers have challenged ourselves to shop our house and redecorate the same space four weeks and the truth is…it is getting harder to come up with new ideas and I won’t be sad to be able to leave it a certain way for more than a week! But hey – that’s why we do this, to push ourselves out of our comfort zone!
Here is a refresher on the first 3 weeks:
Now let’s chat about how I restyled this space for week 4!
I knew that I wanted to use these pedestals that I got this summer from Laurie’s Home Furnishing so I put my Love Feast Velvet Pumpkins from last fall on them and accented with a faux lambs ear stem from Michael’s.
I kept the old chair but swapped out the wreath and pumpkin for my crock of dried hydrangeas and pumpkin stems.
For the other side I was really struggling to figure out what to do. I bought this set of small baskets from The Arrows Nest several months back and hadn’t used them much. I put some of the faux pumpkins and faux greenery from Week 3 in the baskets and love how the baskets accent the tobacco basket and chair.
So that’s it! That’s the restyle for Week 4 and I’m not sad to be done with this challenge but I’m glad I did it! I will probably take a few things from each week to make my final style for my fall home tour! That’s the great thing about pushing yourself to do this, you test out new things and find your favorites!
So now that the challenge is over – I’d love to hear, which week was your favorite?! Leave me comment below to let me know!
Head on over to see how the other bloggers changed up their spaces this week!
