Ok, we’re on Week 3 of the Shop the House Design Challenge – Fall Edition! I have teamed up with several talented bloggers to challenge ourselves to shop our house and redecorate the same space four weeks in a row and things are starting to get a little more difficult than the first two weeks!

Let’s refresh our first two weeks:

Now onto Week Three and how I’ve changed things up for fall! I kept the tobacco basket and DIY Cotton Wreath but changed out the rest!

I loved my boxwood and pumpkin planter from last year that you can see HERE so I decided to try something similar again this year. I had a larger planter box from the thrift store that had been sitting in my garage for months. I used the Amy Howard plaster on it to give it the white rustic look. I just filled it in with small faux pumpkins (some I had painted last year and some this year). I used a combination of paint and dry brushing techniques on some and then paint and wax on others. I cut a couple stems of greenery from Michaels to wedge in between the pumpkins to break it up some and add a different texture.

On this side I just layered some books with a thrifted pitcher and my pheasant feathers from Hobby Lobby and included an antler from my Dad. I never thought I’d see the day that I was asking my Dad for some of his deer antlers….but it happened last year! Thanks Dad! 🙂

On the other side I used my DIY Wood and Iron Bun Feet Pumpkins on some candlesticks with another antler.

My first two weeks I used my rustic stool with a pillow on top but this week I wanted to change that up. I moved this old chair from our bedroom and put my DIY Magnolia Wreath on the bottom with a wicker-type pumpkin on top. This was a random thought but I ended up loving the wreath under the pumpkin and wondered why I hadn’t thought of that sooner!

That’s all for this week! Which fall decor did you like better? Week two or three? I’d love to hear!
