Bar Cart with Close5 App
I am very frugal when it comes to buying things for the house and I’m often searching for used items that I can transform into something I can use and get a great deal. I was excited to hear about a new app for sellings and buying used items locally called Close5. You can download this app here and then enter your zip code and select the distance that you want to search for items nearby.
After searching around the app, I found this rolling “island”/ bar cart for sale that was only 15 minutes from my house. You make an offer right through the app and all your interaction is through the app to bid back and forth and arrange for pickup.
After picking up the island, I knew this was going to be a great piece to have. It’s on casters which I loved. I can already see us using it in our movie room, patio, dining room, etc. I gave it a fresh paint job, removed the broken drawer and replaced it with a shelf and removed the piece that made the wine rack. This is just one of those pieces that I foresee getting a lot of use when we’re hosting parties, showers or dinners. This weekend I setup a fresh lemonade bar in our dining room and made fresh squeezed lemonade for the hubby and I.
