Spring Guest Room Home Tour

Guest-Room-Spring-Tour2

After sharing my updated Master Bedroom Tour, I figured it was time to share our guest room and all that has changed in there! The bedding may look familiar because it is actually the bedding you saw in our master tour. It has been moved to the guest room and we’ve got something a little different in our master.

If you remember from my last guest room home tour here, I was using neutrals and teal and yellow. I loved that color scheme but I wanted a change. When I found these pillows at Target, I knew I wanted to swap out the teal for navy and that’s exactly what I’ve done! Lucky for me, I already had a lot of navy accents that made this swap easy and free!

That is exactly why I chose this ruffled quilt, I wanted something neutral that I could change up the accents however I wanted. It looked great with teal, now I am loving it with the navy and yellow, and in the future I’d love to try it out with light pink accents. Changing out accent pieces can change the look of a room for a low budget and let’s face it, I crave change every once in a while!

I had a stain in the top of this dresser from a red candle that leaked onto it in college. I decided to try this table runner from the dining room to cover it up and ended up loving how it looked.

My mom wasn’t using this bench of hers so for now I am borrowing it for the guest room. It is great for guests to sit their bag, shoes, etc.
