Neutral Winter Decor

Winter_Decor-V

I absolutely love Christmas time and all the decor but by December 25th, I was ready to simplify and take it all down. I love the fresh start after Christmas, new year and a new slate to decorate. I decided to keep it it all very neutral and fairly simple.

I won this tobacco basket from an Instagram giveaway and was thrilled to finally get a chance to use it. I kept out the two rustic pine trees from Old Time Pottery that I had used for Christmas, They have such great texture that I couldn’t put them away just yet. Winter_Decor-V3

I found this Pottery Barn basket when I was thrifting for $51 I just put some extra pillows and my Barn&Willow throw in it to give it that cozy feel for winter.

I bought a bundle of some seeded eucalyptus from a local florist to use in a glass vase that my friend gave me for the fire place. Winter_Decor-H

I swapped out all of the blankets on our blanket ladder for neutral blankets and moved my DIY Pom wreath into the living room. The color and texture makes it the perfect winter wreath and bonus, it cost less than $15 to make! Winter_Decor-V4

I also added some eucalyptus in a glass jar that I had found thrifting (I think it’s actually a beer growler but it works great as a vase). The greenery and glass in the dining room is simple and exactly what I wanted after all of the Christmas decor.

That is it! I hope you enjoyed my simple and neutral winter decor. I’ll be keeping the neutral colors until Spring time when I’m ready for pops of color!
