Aged Metal Leaf Décor

I went to a large church garage sale two weekends ago and got SO MANY great items, I can’t wait to show them all to you! There was a big box of random items that I fortunately decided to dig through and I found these metal leaves in there. They’re actually made to hang on the wall although I knew I would never use them that way. There were 2 sets, 1 set of brass leaves and 1 set of copper leaves. The metal leaves were just too cool to pass up and I loved how the metal had aged. I was pulling out my fall stuff from last year and came across a spaghetti sauce jar that I had hot glued some twine around to use as a vase. The jar worked perfectly to hold all the stems in place, They’re heavier than most stems of leaves so it took me a while to find the right thing to hold them. I also didn’t have to worry about if the metal scratched up the vase since it’s just a repurposed spaghetti sauce jar.

I paid $1 for all 4 of these stems and I love the aged copper look and the mix of copper and brass together. The warm colors were perfect for fall! I never imagined I would get excited about finding old brass and copper items but I have loving all the good junk I’ve been finding lately. So here is what these dated wall hangings turned into! $1 for a very unique bouquet of aged metal leaves and I couldn’t love it more!
